Nikki Wilson earned her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from New York University in 2001. She is the owner of Dreamworks Children’s Therapy Network and has been providing clinic-based and school-based services for children with various diagnoses for over twenty years.
In 2017, after nearly ten years of research and development, Nikki launched Rhythm & Writing with The Get Write Crew, a fun, effective, multi-sensory handwriting program that teaches kids to print legibly using rhymes, music, and videos. It is KID TESTED, parent, therapist and teacher approved!!!
Since launching the program in 2017, Rhythm & Writing has been incorporated into childcare programs and classrooms throughout the United Stated, including but not limited to: Comstock Public Schools (Michigan), Barnwell School District (South Carolina), Deep Roots Charter School (New Jersey), Minnesota Public Schools, Overton ISD (TX), and Autism Units in Henry County Schools (Georgia).
Throughout the years Nikki has also presented to teachers, administrators, parents, childcare providers, Occupational Therapist, and students seeking degrees in Occupational Therapy about various topics including but not limited to: the importance of teaching handwriting, entrepreneurship in Occupational Therapy, and the benefits of using music as a therapeutic and teaching tool. She is currently working on the Rhythm & Writing handwriting app that will be available on Google & Apple platforms.
